Ensemble de l’Encyclopédie
Florent Albrecht pianoforte and conductor

For the release of their first CD!

calls, rattles: with the mischievous program offered by the Ensemble de L’Encyclopédie and its founder, pianoforte player Florent Albrecht, Mozart father and son illuminate us with a playful or graceful light. A few days before his son’s birth, Leopold performed his joyful Sleigh Ride, punctuated by bells. The Toy Symphony is no exception, featuring cuckoo, quail, and nightingale sounds. The young Wolfgang would turn this gaiety into joyful bliss in his most serene works, such as the Serenata notturna or Concerto No. 13 of 1783.

Program

  • Leopold Mozart
    • Kindersinfonie or Toy Symphony in C major
  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
    • Serenade No. 6 “Serenata Notturna” KV 239 D major

  • Leopold Mozart
    • Schlittenfahrt or Sleigh Race
  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
    • Concerto No. 13 KV 415 C major
