Ensemble 6rinx

Ensemble 6rinx is a flute sextet. It was born within the Lausanne University of Music, in Switzerland, where the six flautists met during their studies and shared strong musical adventures that brought them closer together.

By creating Ensemble 6rinx, the six musicians hope to perpetuate this friendship and share their passion for their instrument. Ensemble 6rinx is also eager to introduce audiences of all ages to the diverse and often overlooked instruments of the flute family through a variety of high-quality projects.

Desiring to share their passion, the six flute teachers also develop participatory performances for young audiences.
