Passerelles musicales is a non-profit organization based in Valais, Switzerland. We organize week-long chamber music workshops in Vienna or Valais for amateur musicians of all nationalities. <\/p>\n
The courses are taught by internationally renowned professional musicians from Switzerland and Austria. Participants should be at an intermediate to advanced level, regardless of age: proficiency on the instrument and good sight-reading skills are essential for a chamber music group to progress during the week. <\/p>\n
All string and wind instruments, as well as singers, are welcome. The workshop is limited to a maximum of 25 participants. <\/p>\n
After receiving registrations for this workshop in Vienna, we will form the groups (which can vary from 3 to approximately 12 people, depending on the instruments) and select the scores. Each participant will play in 3 groups and will study 3 different pieces. The scores will be sent at least 2 months before the start of the workshop. <\/p>\n

We will work from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with breaks, after which we will go together for lunch. Instruments can be left on site in a locked room. <\/p>\n
Afternoons are free for organized or independent visits, depending on the week’s program. If you would like to spend more time in Vienna, you can add one or more hotel nights at cost price before and\/or after the workshop (CHF 145 for a single room, CHF 83 for a double room). <\/p>\n
At the end of the workshop, a concert will be organized. Workshop participants are invited to perform as the opening act, but this is not mandatory. Each group decides internally and unanimously on its participation. The second half of the concert will be performed by the instructors. Admission to the concert is free, but a collection will be taken at the exit. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Hotel accommodation with breakfast for 6 nights<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Lessons given by professional musicians and venue rentals<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 4 meals together, including soft drinks after lessons, and 1 boat trip with a meal (drinks not included) and<\/p>\n Viennese music on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n \u2022 <\/span>1 concert<\/p>\n \u2022 A 1-week public transport pass. <\/p>\n \u2022 Musical arrangements and organization of activities and visits during the stay (excluding entrance fees to<\/p>\n museums and historical monuments)<\/p>\n Registration is valid upon payment of a deposit of CHF 650.-<\/p>\n . An invoice will be sent later based on the amount due.<\/p>\n your booking.
