Following the passing of Aur\u00e8le Nicolet in January 2016, the La C\u00f4te Fl\u00fbte Festival Association, now the Swiss Flute Society, wished to preserve the memory of this exceptional flautist. A bridge between the playing of Marcel Moyse and that of current generations, Aur\u00e8le Nicolet profoundly influenced many musicians and friends with his talent and humanity. <\/p>\n
This book brings together memorabilia, photos, and archival documents, offering a vivid insight into his influence, his friendships, and his entire personality. It is neither an exhaustive biography nor a historical manual, but a sincere tribute, to be browsed freely, to discover the man and the artist. <\/p>\n
