Biography
A graduate of the Geneva University of Music in Jacques Zoon’s class, Maud Besnard is currently a professor of flute at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. A founding flautist of Ensemble Caravelle since 2014, she performs regularly in French-speaking Switzerland in staged concerts.
She has also been studying the traverso (a type of flute) with Serge Saïtta since 2018 and plays in various Geneva-based baroque ensembles.
