SUMMARY:INTERNATIONAL FLUTE COMPETITION
DESCRIPTION:The International Flute Competition 2026 is a unique event dedicated to the memory and artistic legacy of Peter-Lukas Graf\, one of the most outstanding flutists and pedagogues of our time.  \nThe competition is open to flutists of different generations – from the youngest participants to students\, young artists\, and emerging professionals – with no age limit. Its aim is to support artistic development\, inspire young musicians\, and create a space for international exchange at the highest artistic level.  \nAs of May 1st\, 2026\, we warmly invite our youngest participants to apply – flutists born between 2020 and 2013.  \nEach age group is assessed separately\, with every year of birth forming its own individual category\, ensuring a fair and thoughtful evaluation.  \nWe look forward to receiving your applications!

DESCRIPTION:Les Flûtes en vacances\nThe flutes are taking up their summer residence in Gland for a lively and accessible week of music for all. From June 29 to July 3\, 2026\, “The Flutes on Vacation” invites young and old to discover\, improve their skills\, and share the joy of playing together in a relaxed yet focused atmosphere.  \nWhether making your first sounds as young as 5 with a loaned instrument\, preparing for a certificate\, or simply looking to play in an ensemble\, everyone will find their place. Individual lessons\, chamber music\, rehearsals with piano\, and interpretation work fill these days\, guided by a team of passionate teachers.  \nA summer musical interlude to improve your skills\, meet other flautists\, and experience music in a new way\, at the heart of L’Atelier F. \nActivities\nFlute players for children\, teenagers\, and adults\n\n4 individual 45-minute lessons\n2 rehearsals with piano\n1.5 hours of ensemble music per day\, adapted to your level\nOne review day (Friday) with:\n\nOne 30-minute flute lesson\nOne 30-minute rehearsal with piano accompaniment\n\n\nClosing concert on Friday\, July 3rd at 3:30 pm\n\nBeginners from age 5\n\nDaily introductory group lessons\, games\, flute lessons\, instrument provided\n\nGroups of 2: 1 hour\nGroup of 3: 1.5 hours

Developed in close collaboration with the Flaine Intermunicipal Syndicate and Flaine’s cultural and tourism stakeholders\, the project is part of a strong regional dynamic and actively contributes to the artistic influence of this exceptional location.  \nAbout Us \nOpus 74 – Flaine\, L’Académie des Arts is not just a music festival\, but an immersive artistic experience. Every summer\, for two weeks\, we offer a series of classical music concerts open to the public\, demanding masterclasses\, and a structured educational program. Since 2016\, we have expanded our project to include visual arts in order to foster dialogue between disciplines. We also conduct outreach activities for young people to instill a love of music and encourage the discovery of instruments.    \nOur commitment is to make art accessible while maintaining high standards\, to offer participants a focused and stimulating working environment\, and to allow the public to enjoy a genuine and high-quality musical experience.
